Stretch knit polyester dust mite & allergy duvet cover, September 21, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Stretch Knit Polyester Dust Mite & Allergy Control King Duvet Cover (Kitchen) The fabric is exceptional. The "stretch knit" appears less wrinkles and feel more stronger than most covers. Now I want one for my queen size but I hope the price goes down a little more.

Like many, I have an overstuffed duvet that leaks feathers and I also have a mild allergy. There are other highly rated covers that are cotton based that are significantly more expensive than this model. However, I just wanted a good cover to throw into another cover (i.e. one that looks nicer and feels nice). This fits that built just fine as it holds in the feathers and I haven't woken up to any scratchy eyes. If you're looking to use this as the main cover (i.e. sleep directly under it) -- it's probably not for you and you should pay a few bucks more for a cotton model. On the other hand, if you're just looking for something to contain feathers and allergens ... this is a good product and it'll save you so money while doing the job adequately.

Seems waterproof but also heats up a lot, January 8, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Stretch Knit Polyester Dust Mite & Allergy Control Full/Queen Duvet Cover (Kitchen) The cover is waterproof (whew!), but I have noticed that this duvet retains heat inside and isn't very breathable at all because of the membrane. That can lead to feeling uncomfortably warm/sweaty in the middle of the night or by the morning. I will be trying to find a cover that's more breathable than this cover, which has a rubbery layer on the inside of the cover. Alternatively, you may want to try a lighter comforter on the inside.
